I am actually getting short of words for describing this movie.This is undoubtedly a path breaking movie.This movie contrary to general Yash Raj films or bollywood movies didn’t have too much content.But the screenplay and direction was so beautiful that if one watches it intently he wouldn’t feel bored for a second.
It was a movie of subtle emotions(contrary to other yash raj movies)-with Surinder Sahani the main protagonist depicting most of the indian males.One could easily identify with every bit of Suri’s emotions, expressions himself.On the other hand Raj, the wannabe cool guy, ends up becoming vulgar, irritating & over the top with his every action.Raj at one point of time becomes a caricature of every person who wants to be something which he is not.At the end the movie gives us a beautiful message-it encourages everyone to be proud of what he is and not be a feign or fake person.
Coming to performances-SRK has once again created magic with Surinder Sahni.He has actually been successful in turning a simple man, Suri, into one of the most memorable characters in bollywood.Similarly, he has made Raj equally irritating.The new girl Anushka was good, restrained and didn’t over-react.
The music in the movie was not outstanding, but good.Purely judging on the basis of how it went with the movie-beautiful.Haule Haule needs a special mention as it was choreographed brilliantly, with the lyrics and music creating magic on screen.
Last, but not the least, Aditya Chopra was the main hero of the movie.He is probably the only present generation director who is not influenced by hollywood.He has matured a lot as a director from DDLJ.and has proved that he is the best.
