Well here is my slighty late review on the music of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and I must say I review music after a long time so that I can get use to a song. Some Songs do not hit me stright away. So here it is my review of the most awaited movie of the year Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
Haule Haule - Sukhwinder singh
This song was a hit at first hearing when I heard the promo, Sukhwinder does it again with shahrukh Khan, Chak De India then Dard-de-Disco and Now Haule Haule. He is becoming the new voice for shahrukh khan instead of Abhijeet that did it before. Overal the song is really good great lyrics, the meaning is well put out. Telling you that love will happen Slowly Slowly (Haule Haule) Just like everything happens slowly in life including Prayers being awnsered. The music background has a nice catchy beat to it. The song is simple and very sweet for the ears a sure shot winner and one of the best this year my rating for this song a sure shot **10/10
*Dance Pe Chance
Okay first I did not like this song at all, but after playing it on my I-Pod and giving this song a second to third chance it has grown with me. With seeing the promo the song looks fantastic. The song is just a song to teach someone to dance. So the lyrics are funny and the beat really gets to you. The ending part where it goes Da- Da - Da – Dance is one bit they should have not done which is not so great. But the whole song is funny and has a great beat, it will take a few hearing for this song to grow on you overal my rating for this song 7.5/10
Dancing Jodi
A remix of mostly all the songs Including Dance pe chance, haule Haule and tujhe mein rab Dikhtha Hai, the beat at the end is just so well done with the dhols, one of the best remixs of all songs heard in a long time my rating 8/10
Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte – Sonu Nigam
This song is very lengthy but it works because of sonu nigams energy which he brings on this track he goes all out to show his talents in this mixed song of the ever greens. Its really funny, hip and smooth. I love the Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke when it kicks in each time. A song that will sizzle on screen and create huge laughs and it will be really fun to watch. The songs being mixed is really great each part has a tribute of a certain actor or actress with all there songs mixed in Eg Shami Kapoor....”YAHOO YAHOO DIL KARE...Badan Pe Sitare Lapete Huwe” see how that is mixed? Very smarty and creativly done..great song my rating 8/10
Tujhe Mein Rab Diktha Hai – Roop Kumar Rathod
This is one amazing track very soft and the lyrics is what stands out in this song, god being the one you see in your loved one. The lyrics have to be one of the best I have heard and it is just touching, Roop goes all out singing as if there is really love in his voice, an excellent choice and it beats Tere Liye in Veer Zara by a mile stone and half. “Tu Jo Muskuriye..Tu Joh Sharmaye...jaise mera Khuda Jhoom Tha” is one lyrics that got me smiling. It basically showcase love in such away that one feels happy for your partner being happy..You start thinking of her or him as your god. The girls version is too sweet as well..music is soft and delicate and it is a sure shot romantic winner. My rating 10/10
The album is being slammed by many and I got to say I do not care, I loved the music and it reaches my expectations by a mile. Go grab it for some fun and romantic songs. It is worth it. As an album as a whole my overal rating is **9/10
