Imagine how would a movie look on small screen. Now what I mean by this is that imagine a movie made into a television series. This is the case of Rabba Ishq Na hove. It started with a huge hype. It was in the news for being the next big thing on zee. Many were fooled as the story line follows very similar to the Shahrukh Khan starrer ’’Pardes’’. A guy meets the girl for his friend only to fall in love with her.
The foreign kid always turns out to be the evil one. Just because he was raised in foreign country he HAD to be bad because cultured kids are only in India. The foreigner don’t have any values-right? Yet again, another stereotypical story.
In addition, the actress doesn’t seem very appealing as the one that everyone wants. I think she could do better. In fact, the introduction where the girl is jumping so high and dancing just shows she is not made for these kind of roles. She looks very awkward in this portrayal. She should be that shy girl that she was from ’’Mehandi tere naam kI’’
If you like movies turned into television series, this show is for you. There is nothing original in this serial. Hence, it is not anything that it was hyped for when it began.
