Please be warned against this FRAUD COMPANY if you are ever contacted for this useless RACE card. It is going to be sheer waste of your money because they will not come to help you when you need them the most. Read my experience below:
I had subscribed to RACE helpline - a service run by PRJ Auto Services Pvt. Ltd., which promises to help you in case your vehicle breaks downs on road. The details of my subscription are as under:
Membership No. DLB 1662
Receipt No. PRJ-E/1203 dated 24-07-08
Membership Fee paid : Rs.300/- by cheque no. 553127 dt 24.7.08 of ICICI Bank.
Validity : 15 months (as written on the receipt by the Executive named Ritika)
My vehicle broke down at 3:53 pm on 30th May 2009 at Lawrence Road flyover, New Delhi. I dragged my vehicle in the scorching heat for about 1/2 a km in search of a mechanic, when I could not I remembered having the ’RACE Card’ in my wallet. I called up on 011-43676767 and talked to that Executive, who named himself as Akshay Kumar. I told him about the problem and he asked about my vehicle no., the card no., my name etc., which I did. Then he told me that my card has expired and hence he cannot send anyone. I told him that I have the receipt (above mentioned) with me and that it is still valid, but he refused to listen and told me "main kuchh nahi kar sakta, aap ko jaha complaint karna ho kar sakte hain" and hung up.
I was disappointed. I had to reach home as fast as possible, which was still a good 35 km away from that place. In that heat, I had to further drag my vehicle for about a km before I could find a mechanic. I am feeling cheated by this PRJ Auto Services Pvt. Ltd. and would like the concerned authorities to take a note of it.
