About - Shahrukh Khan’s performance in and as’Raees’ is truly one of his best career roles. There was perfect balance of shahrukh’s charm and style. The Score was phenomenal and choosen carefully for each specific scene.
Plot - The movie opens up with a scene narrating how tons of domestic wine is illegally traded on a large scale in the state of Gujrat. Later, Raees’s childhood story followed in which he learned an business incentive based saying that’NO business is small and no religion is greater than business’. After that moment, Raees developed a keen desire to start his own business to elimate the poverty and unsecurity in his life but the road he took, makes the story of the’Raees’ he became in future.
Cast Performance - Everyone’s performance was undoubtly entertaining, Shahrukh Khan’s look in’Raees’ is something which will be remembered and followed. Nawazuddin Khan maintenained his unique presence.
Soundtrack - The Song Collection of this movie is pretty decent.’Laila main laila’ remake of a master peice is worth it. However, the song’sansoon ke’ was unnescaessarily placed as it ruined the excitment of a serious plot follow up.
Overview - The first half of the movie is near to perfect and if the maker could’ve maintained the same effect the this movies could’ve become one of the best movie of the year taking into consideration both the performance and the story. However, it did’nt happen. The second half was something like’ Just make it end and make any change available’. There were unnecessary songs, scenes, character changes etc. Despite of the time time they had this movie is disorganised in some manner in the sencond half. Thus, make Raees a one-time watch but in cinema’s only.
