This restaurant serves lousy, imitation Italian food at an expensive price! I have tried their pizza recently, and their pasta several months ago - both times I felt cheated. A few days back I tried their basic deep pan "Margherita" pizza, which the menu claims to be "Prepared Tomato with melting cheese seasoned with herbs"(sic). When the pizza arrived, I could see absolutely no tomato or tomato sauce in the pizza - it was just white cheese on a light brown pizza base! I could not spot a single herb either. Complete con-job - just some local south Indian cook melting some cheese on a pizza base and passing it off as Italian food!
And this cost me Rs.100/-! I can prepare better cheese sandwiches at home, with tomatoes, onions, peppers, et al thrown in, for a fraction of the price and infinitely better taste.
A few months ago I had tried one of their pastas as well, with the same result. I forget which particular pasta I tried, but the menu had claimed all kinds of veggies and herbs, but what arrived was a more-or-less white pasta with little else on it!
I noticed that one of the waiters there doubles as cashier-cum-manager, there is no proper manager. So maybe all the veggies and herbs are being siphoned off somewhere and we gullible customers get just white cheese on either pizza or pasta.
COMPLETELY AVOID! If you want better pizza, at an all-vegeterian place, try Little Italy’s on Indiranagar 80feet road, close to the new airport road flyover.
