Raid is one of the most engaging and realistic movie in Bollywood. The well made film in every prospects that keeps you engaged during entire film duration. The film perfectly justifies the true incident of longest IT raid india ever witnessed in a very realistic way and without any unnecessary and senseless drama. One the rarest movie that will be loved by both mass and class audience.
Storyline and screenplay : -
Main plot of the story inspired by the true incident at the time of 80’s. Story revolves around the honest income tax officer amay patnaik and corrupt politician tauji. Filled with many thrills, suspens & twist. Screenplay of film is totally engaging not a single dull moment till end. First half of film is brilliant and second half is more impactful. Editor of film does fabulous job.
Performance : -
Ajay devgan justifies his role perfectly as honest income tax officer with his intensity. Illeana d’cruz has a very little role as malini but does her job fairly. Saurabh shukla does a fantastic job as villian. He’s the main highlight among the whole cast and steal the show with his superb performance. Rest of the cast does their fairly.
Direction -rajkumar gupta : -
Aamir and no one killed jessica fame rajkunar gupta’s direction is excellent. This one is his best work till date. He delivers one of the most realistic film in recent time. His narration of story is so simple. And with any unnecessary drama.
Music and dialouges : -
Music of the film is just decent. Nit kher manga ans sanu ek pal are good songs but but distracts you from gripping story. Background score is very good that makes you more excited for upcoming scenes. Dialogues are very well written by ritesh shah. Specially the face off between ajay devgan and saurabh shukla are clap & whistle worthy.
A very much recommended film.
Must watch.
