one of the massive forts of shivaji maharajas kingdom. Superbly built. It takes anywhere between 45mins to 2 hrs for one to reach the top of the fort. there is a small parking at the bottom of the fort from where one can climb the fort easily. for those who cannot climb or dont want to climb there is a rope way made by the govt. it takes Rs.250/- for the round trip.
the route to this fort is simple. Cross tamhini ghat after the MIDC area take a right, keep going straight till the next big village, take a left and keep going straight again, you will have to take a left after sometime. follow the sign boards it is really easy to find. it is realllllyyyy fun. there is place to stay on top.
