This is one of those movies that make you feel that life indeed is beautiful. Beautiful nothing else describes the meatmorphosis of a six day
relationship between two brothers-- the only difference here being that one of
them is a autistic savant.
We have some sensible and awesome acting by Dustin Hoffman as an autistic man. The script is amazing as it is but the screenplay is what makes you feel for the particular characters. A sensible movie which is brilliant though would now be classified into a feel-good movie.
Meet Charlie Babbit (Tom Cruise) who is a on-the-go car salesman and a great
beleiver in the miracles of the green paper. And on one fine day Charlie gets
the news that his estranged father has died. Urged by his girlfriend susssana

father has left his estate and $3, 000 000 to a trust while he is left twiddling
his thumbs with his fathers prize rose-bushes and Buick Roadmaster!!!
Charlie is enraged that even at his death his father left him high and dry as always and the consequent search for the trustee leads him to walbrook institute where he discovers that he has an autistic brother who identifies the Buick easily and

Charlie abducts his unseeming brother alongwith his girlfriend determined to get even with his father and get the inheritance and takes him to Angeles which turns both their lives topsy-turvy. His girlfriend leaves him thinking him insenstive to embark on such a course of action.
Watch if you want to ride an emotional roller coaster with Joe Babbitt with his new found brother who just endears to him in a very touching but human way possible.
