Clive Cusslers writes an excellent plot and this too was the first one I’ve read. His books are based on his own real life adventures. The plots are excellently written, you feel like you are part of the story. The details are well researched and his characters are fantastic. I like his main character Dirk Pitt, who’s development is great. He’s a daredevil not afraid of anything or anyone and will prove it. I like how Mr. Cussler’s pulls in The Titanic, the details that are actually of the ship when he describes the musicians on board when they discover the horn and the music played that fateful night. He pulls you into the story with the depth of detail.
