I recommend DTC for DELHI>KATRA>Delhi over Raj travels. Raj travels have mentioned that route on their site but I feel they do not have any bus on that route.
I booked my bus ticket with Raj Travel Express from Delhi to Katra and Katra to Delhi while going to Vaishno Devi.
When I reached Canaught Place to take the bus, I was surprised to know that there was no bus available so they have cancelled the bus. The unprofessional part was that I was not informed about the cancellation over the phone. They arranged to provide me a seat in some other Travel Agency Bus. The Bus was in pathetic condition. We started at 6:30PM from Canaught Place and left Delhi at 10:30PM. The bus reached to Katra next day @ 1:30PM, the scheduled time was 8:00 AM.
Again while coming back from Katra to Delhi, I myself called up Raj travels to confirm the schedule of the Bus. Firstly it was so painful to contact them even @ 10:30AM. I called up, they provided some number of Delhi office. Delhi office did not have Jammu Number. It all was so unprofessional. Finally I got the contact person in Katra. The person was not from Raj travels but was responsible for booking the ticket for Raj travels. He told me that the bus is not available today as well and he can book the ticket for some other travels. I got the ticket for DTC. DTC was more professional than Raj Travels. They were on time next day.
