I want to write about a BAD experience that happened to my friend with Raj Travels. He had booked a early morning Bangalore-Chennai bus. After finding no sign of bus about 1/2 hr. after scheduled departure time, we made a call to their Bangalore office. We were shocked to know that bus has been canceled.
Why did Raj Travel not inform passengers about cancellation earlier? Arent they required to provide an alternative bus? In the travel industry, this is customer service in its worst form. It remains to be seen whether my friend receives a full refund of his money.
My advice to all folks booking at Raj is: Always call up beforehand for any schedule changes - or you will have a dreadful surprise. Also, do not use this operator if you have a critical need to travel.
They have good buses - agreed, but they dont seem to be responsible enough to entrust your to travel.
