I remember watching this film when it came out with my family in the year 1995/96 and relished the simplicity of the story and the way it was presented on the big screen.
The songs are absolutely wonderful with the melodious voice of Mr.Udit Narayan and furthermore, the cast assembled for this movie ideally fits into their respective roles.
Aamir Khan who was even though still a lot popular still needed a big hit to prove that he’s THE best actor of the time and with this movie, he DID.
The movie also clicks for Karishma Kapoor’s beautiful portrayal, turning from a rich-end girl to a simply girl who marries a taxi driver(Aamir Khan) and the complexities that follow.
To get back into the time, the wonderful 1990’s, this is the movie to trust.
