Back in 1977, I found my first real bike a 1975 RD350B--I owned a Suzuki before it, the Suz was a GT380-It was sort of fast but nothing like the RD--WOW what a machine.. I went to 3 engines and had a set of DG chambers on the first RD--bought my second RD in 1981-it had @ 6000 miles on it-she was also a 1975 RD350B--I used her up-put @ 5000 more miles and overhauled it , put a set of skyway chambers on it..she just didnt have the same power of the first one..
I had a harley for a while, didnt care for it.. now its 2004 and I have a new Suzuki GSXR1000-180hp--185mph--0-150mph in 9.5 seconds--185mph in 15 seconds--its quite a beast, but I still love the RD more than any bike I could ever own--and I mean any bike.............
Seems like you guys in India really like the RD, well we here in the USA really love it too.. There isn’t many left, they cant build new ones because of the Air Quality laws..but there are a few still running....I wish I had one...
