Rajiv gandhi zoological.park is the most famous zoo park located near Bharti vudyapeeth , katraj pune. Its opening timing is from aroun 10 to 5pm.
It has a very big area of zoo abd mainly contains snake park, birds, water animals, abd orphanage zoo. It also has a big lake called Katraj lake.
There a also facility of boating for the visitor to take a long ride in different boats but two years ago because of one bad incident the stop the boating section which is a very good decision by the PMC for the people.
It is very clean and well managed.It has animals like African elephants, white tiger, various types of birds and all with each and every species information chart. Safety is very strictly, they have very nice fencing to each and every animals.
They have big snake park which has very big cobra, vipers, pythons etc. More than 15-16 species of snakes. In the vacation of kids it is must to go there with family for ine day trip.You will definitely liked it.
They have a canteen in internal area for the sitters. Also provides drinking water facility place to place.They also have facility of buggies for the senior citizens which taked a long ride all over the park.
