Rajkahini is one of the best of Srijit Mukerjee. The movie based on the story of few neglected women while the partition was going on. Depending on that situation the condition of India was terrible. Everything is clearly described in the movie thoroughly.
The story shows that while partition between India and Pakistan There is a house which was Brothel. Now political leader of each group requests them to leave the house as it is between the partition line but they were unwilling to leave it. The leader of this neglected woman named Begam Jaan was played by Dynamic Rituparna Sengupta. In other role Saswata Chatterjee, Abir Chatterjee all are wonderful. The movie nicely revels the socio-economic condition of people and what general people faces while the riot was going between Hindu and Muslims and the political leaders influenced them to migrate.
In last I can say it is the best work of Srijit Mukerjee till date. You can enjoy the movie with your friends or date. Enjoy the movie
