RAM MAHAL - NOW ITS ONLY MAHAL WITHOUT RAM

Those were the good old days when we planned that we will have food in Ram Mahal which is located in Kurla. It was all good veg food and the ambience and more above the cleaniness. But unfortunately I had a very bad experience recently.

Iam mostly out of town or in travelling by my scooter so there was a bog gap that I had been to Kurla. So here I had some work in Kurla and how I cannot be at Ram Mahal for a quick lunch.

Now when I entered, there was a hand that blocked me asking how many are you, I said one, he asked me to join a six people table which already been occupied by 5. Well I was happy they doing good and there is good crowd. I asked the waiter for glass if water, he pointed towards the existing glass, now It was difficult to say 5 people have not fulfilled their thirst. Still when I persisted he got me 2 glass of water.

Since it was packed, I ordered a Dosa, to which waiter replied only lunch items. So I again I asked for the menu card to which he obliged and was standing, when I told him let me check and he could come back, he replied I dont have time please make it quick. I told the waiter even I free for that matter cause of which I ordered a Dosa which he denied and to have a lunch I need to check cause I dont have lunch in hotels.

I ordered a thali, it was quick, till I was finishing my 2nd roti, waiter was standing beside me and watching. I asked Bhai I sill have rice to go cannot finish my lunch if you keep on stating at me. He said there is a family waiting and Iam sitting in a 6 people table. Food was good, but the same time I discovered Hotel is not what it used to be, The hotel smells phenol that has been poured everywhere, I saw flies are Sandwich section and also the water it tasted different. It tasted as if they have poured some chemical to filter it.

Now when I checked the bill, this is no where close to being one a value for money hotel.

I directly went to the cashier paid him and just checked what happened to the cleaniness and waiter being rude, to which he completely ignored me.

As the saying goes no good things last forever this is one good example, there time when we would travel to Ram mahal just to have those pani puris and sandwich and specially the ambience. Everything has changed.

On that note disappointed Raga Signing off
