At last I saw the movie after hearing somany bad reviews of the movie. Actually I went theatre for watchingTheevandi, but due to the rush I didnt get the ticket and I took ticket for Ranam. As far as how I feel is, the crime drama directed by the newbie Nirmal Sahadev enough to hook the audience on it, eventhough at some places we can feel a little bit lag and cliche. Ranam is a good watch for a cinema lover, and it is one of the best gangster movies ever made in malayalam. Prithviraj as Aadhi has done a brilliant job as usual. And the villain Damodar Ratnam played by Rahman, was also great. The other strong points of the movie are its brilliant cinematography and music. I think these two are lot more contributed to make this movie standout from all the gangster movies of mollywood till date. Ranam should be watched in theatres to experience these elements and for the story to an extent!
