After Yuva , Rang De Basanti is a movie which is based on awakening the youth in India to fight against corruption and violence.
Rang De Basanti is a fun film which makes a serious statement. It calls for social participation. Its sheer simplicity of the nature of Patriotism peddled by Rang De Basanti which makes the film a winner. There is no high funda postulations of a philosophy of desh-bhakti which is supposed to inspire the bunch of carefree collegiates who spend most of their time killing time.
What I like in the movie is the Punjabi accent been spoken by Amir Khan and Sharman Joshi. And of course Siddharth who stole the show with his mind-blowing looks.
The music of A R Rehman rocks, ” Masti ki Patashala” is a nice peppy number.
The cinematography captures Delhi with a rare dazzle, the dialogues are scintillating, the catchy one “sue ker mere man ko kiya tune kya ishara”.
Every citizen of India should watch this movie.
