Today I watched the movie Rangoon & I am here to give you review on it.
Plot- As the Plot is known to everyone that movie is setback on World war 2 & having a love triangle between Saif ali khan, Shahid Kapoor & Kangana Ranaut. Rusi(Saif Ali Khan) is in love with Silver screen Sensation Miss Julia(Kangana Ranaut) and he wants to take her lady love to perform for british army. Then there comes Jamadar Nawab Malik(Shahid Kapoor) and he finds something special with Miss julia. This love triangle goeson and there is 2nd World war in background. But what you will find in the end is very disappointing, as the climax not suit for this.
Cast Performance- If we talk about Performance Shahid Kapoor is in first grade with smart & impressive act. Saif Ali Khan is too very effective, Kangana Ranaut is also good & Supporting actors too.
Story lacks pace though it has heart and but screenplay is not so interesting and little bit confusing. Dialogues are good and deserves praises no doubt. Editing is below par and background score is fab.
Must say that Costumes are authentic and it is very well shot film. Action is also good.
Sound Track- Sorry to say that Vishal Bhardwaj(Director) not makes upto the expectation for the audiences as compare to it’s previous films, they are soo boring.
Cinematography is not properly done as it is not so much engaging enough & excitement level is that’s why is not so good.
Over all it is a boring film as it lacks pace & today’s modern generation may be not so excited for this movie.
