By Rapido app is a regular practice since 2019, and the app has been one of my favorite rides choice for daily and short-distance rides around Hyderabad in these years. So far, Rapido has been the means that I have chosen in almost every way for a quick commute to the office, a visit to a friend, or a last-minute errand. I typically use it on multiple occasions within a month, and my experiences have been generally positive, although there have been a few instances where the service was somewhat inconsistent.
Pros:
Fast and Convenient: It is really hard to find a fault with Rapido when it comes to simplicity in booking a bike or auto. The app is very easy to use, and usually, you get a ride confirmation within a few seconds.
Reasonable Fare: As far as the price is concerned, Rapido has been my go-to platform for the cheapest short city rides. I was able to save a lot during the rush hour when the cab price went up due to the heavy traffic.
Time Saver: Usually the bike has been my savior as it helped me get to my destination faster than a car or auto during traffic jams in Hyderabad.
Friendly Rapido Riders: The majority of the riders I have dealt with are courteous and helpful, and they possess good knowledge of the road. Besides that, some of them even come up with extra measures in order to comfort and safety.
Environmental Considerations: The introduction of electric vehicles in the Rapido fleet also allows environmentally conscious users to make greener transportation choices.
Payment Flexibility: Enjoying a variety of payment options(UPI, wallet, or cash) is one of the seamless points in the entire journey.
Cons:
One thing that bugs me is when riders bail on you after accepting the ride. It’s not super often, but its a pain when it happens, especially if it’s raining or during rush hour.
Finding a ride can be tricky sometimes, mostly if you’re in a less busy spot or its late.
Helmets and safety: Most riders wear helmets, but some don’t, or their helmets are beat up.

Even with these little issues, Rapido is still super handy and cheap for getting around Hyderabad. It’s way more convenient than anything else, and Ive seen the service get way better recently.
