Begin by Reading

Well, I am going to attempt this one.

I first will say I do not go on Grammar unless it is really bad. I have read some really good reviews with not every I dotted or t’s crossed.

I DO NOT have to agree with the reviewer to give a HR rating. Sometimes, I have to not let things said get in the way of a fair rating.

I think the review is more pleasing to the reader with whole words. Not u for you etc. ( am I doing it? ) :o)

You know what I mean.

HR:

I know I am no expert in the HR field. I am still learning, but if the review of a product tells me enough to try or not to try, or gets my attention to read or not to read a book, visit or not visit a place and so on I usually will give a HR.

R:

This is where most of my reviews so far have been rated.

Which I appreciate, since all this is new to me.

I give an R to a review that has enough about the product that I can at least have information to go on.

SR:

I don’t give many of these SR ratings, unless it is really obvious the person does not care. I think you can tell.

NR:

I don’t think I have given more than one or two NR.

I have seen a few reviews that were written as an opinion of another reviewer’s review. To me it could have been left in the comments section.

I will say in closing:

Longer is not always better with me, or too much information on a movie or book review. I don’t want to know how it ends, I just want enough to see if I would want to read or see.

I really do not know why a member will read and not rate??

I saw one member who had been read 35 times and only rated 14 times.

I have just lately began to try to leave some comments.

I am getting better at this.

I think this is a great site and want it to do good and stay around a long time.

Thanks,

Glenda: Still learning and enjoying MouthShut.
