Hi Friends, Ratna Cafe Triplicane is one of the old excellent hotel one can in Chennai. This is the place where you can find extremely good quantity of quality Sambar along with Idly’s till date. Recently they have expanded their presence in many places in Chennai like, Mylapore, Velachery, ECR, T.Nagar, etc.,
Their specialty is Idly, Vadai, Dosa with Chutney and Sambar, order any of these mentioned items in Ratna Cafe, it will be treat you excellent taste.
I am sure you will not get foods like Ratna Cafe. I don’t even like Saravana Bhavan it is not good at all comparing with Ratna Cafe and costlier also.
The legend about the Sambar is that, chefs from one particular family makes the Sambar and the recipe is kept as a secret among themselves.
You have to wait a long time in the evenings for a table, they don’t serve it in the afternoon as it is lunch time.
For a good food why can’t we pay more, comparing to other hotels like Saravana Bhavan etc. its cheaper.
