Months ago I sent in my 5month old, $200 sunglasses for repair at Ray-Bans. After getting returned to sender(I was not notified), I contacted customer service and was told that I would get a refund for my purchase. A month later(again, I was not notified), I contacted the company about my refund. The company told me that I was misinformed and that Ray-Ban does not issue refunds, even though their company policy found on their website clearly states otherwise. When asked further about this, their customer service simply stated that Luxxotica(the parent company and the only one that deals with customer service for Ray-Ban) does not offer refunds. Furthermore, they told me to contact Ray-Ban directly. Every time Ive tried calling Ray-Ban directly, my call goes unanswered or I am rerouted back to Luxxotica. I have been a loyal customer of Ray-Ban for years, but their customer service is the worst(not to mention the fact that their representatives are curt, misleading, and unhelpful). I shall not be buying from Ray-Ban again and would caution others from buying from them as well.
