Soccer the greatest sports of all, so pity our country ranks below 130 in FIFA ranking of this year too. Not a single major title for us in soccer since times unknown, I even have a doubt that ever if india played soccer outside our country.
Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Dempo they are only good at home and that also against each other.
Once I happened to see a match between Mohun Bagan and East Bengal the two most popular football club in India and the way they were playing I felt like they were just intersted to kick the ball outside the playing field.Half of the time ball was going from one sideline to other.None of the players were interested to keep the ball in their control and try to make some good move toward penalty area.I tried hard to watch it for full time but the way they were playing I switch off the TV after 30 mins.
The other sports people, they keep on just saying that cricket is givem more importance or cricket is made more popular bcause of money, but sorry friends if the football team of our country ranks below 130 in FIFA ranking then they dont deserve much. Atleat in cricket we are not so far behind as compare to others thanx to AZHAR & Co ( specialist in fixing and winning)
