The main reason why I saw this movie was because I had read the book by Margaret Michelle. It gave me so much reading pleasure that I couldnt resist the movie. The cast is wonderfully chosen to perfection and the acting is brilliant. It is the story of a young girl who has all the pleasures in life until one day, all is gone. Gone with the wind. This book reveals the terrible effect that war has on civilians and the devastation it can cause. Her life is shattered till she meets Rhett Butler, played by none other that Clark Gable. This book has a little bit of everything, joy, sorrow, heartbreak, romance.....tragedy. I do not wish to disclose the story because it will reduce the sheer pleasure of seeing this movie. So, go ahead and relax and enjoy this timeless love story.
