I watched Aaj Ki Baat, the news show anchored by Mr. Rajat Sharma. No doubt, Mr. Sharma is a competent person, well read and thoroughly knowledgeable. He knows his job and is well versed, as far as the news and the political scenario is concerned. He analyses situations deftly and in an unbiased manner, giving a clear picture to the viewer. BUT.....
The Only drawback I see in the entire program ’’Aaj Ki Baat’’ is Rajat Sharma! Yes... Rajat Sharma.. the news reader!
The way he modulates his voice, makes one think, there is somthing wrong with the volume control of the Television set! His voice rises in a shrill, in the beginning, slowly ebbing down to such a low tone, that you either have to strain your ears or amplify the sound to hear him!
The result? Irritation! One can hear only half the news! The remaining half dies down in Rajat Sharma’s throat!
Could Mr. Rajat Sharma try to improve his clarity and if it is not possible, could star TV request him to take the back seat as far as anchoring programs is concerned?
