Re:MKumarasamy's review

This review is reply to Mr Kumarasamy’s review.

I am happy to see a different view on reservations. Kumarasamy’s review has broken the monotony of debate on HRD ministry. Whatever is written in Italics are words of Mr Kumarasamy and below it is my reply.

Most of the OBC/SC/ST’s(infact 99%)are economically backward.

From where did you get this figure?Dear its fully wrong.Infact in cities even 10% of reserved category are not backward economically. And if your concern is that since they are economically backward therefore they should be given reservation, then I fully agree with you.But if this is the case then why not give reservation to all the people who are economically backward? what mistake people have done who are economically backward and not of reserved category?

We are happy to know that atleast they completed the course without commiting suicide

This is most absurd thing I have ever heard. You have sympathy for students who cant work hard, they know this and even then grab seat at IITs and after this get more relaxed and fail in exams. Due to students like these same numbers of students who have worked hard, are not able to get admission and realize their dreams. In this way a seat gets wasted. Kumar just take this, a guy has got benefit of reservation upto his 12th. Even then he cannot take benefit of it and upgrade his knowledge levels means he is not fit for specialized learning. He should vacate the seat and give it to other student who is more hard working and dedicated than him who can take benefit of studies and help society.

Others may not know what are the problems they are facing in side the college or from his village

Dear you may be correct but how many students come under this category? First of all untouchables is non existent in cities and urban areas. And is seen only in backward areas of country where whole population in general is economically backward. In it’s the students who get admission are most of the time from cities where no one asks what is your caste or infact no one cares. Same in no college you will find any student being left out because he is o reserved category. Give name of even a single college which discriminates in term of caste. Discrimination is done in educational institutions but only for admissions which gives people of certain class undue advantage. Caste is the word which can be heard in colleges only at time of education when you see a small separate line of students seeking admission for reserved seats which is not longer than dhoti of Arjun Singh. And at same place is a line stretching for Kms of open category students who are 30 to 40 times more than reserved category students but have same number of seats like them.

Nobody teaches to those so called quota fellows in company. He has to stand on his own like others

Goodness. Do you have any thing to support this sentence? I think you have never worked in private companies and stay in a remote village away from developed India.

There os no company in India that discriminates his employees on basis of religion. Infact have u ever heard in interview you are being asked your caste? Also have you ever seen any where an employee being cornered for being an reserved category? Private companies are the only ones where all the people of society are given equal opportunities to prosper. Your observation is totally wrong.

what are you going to be affected by having few students more in the class? Anyway they are brainless fellows, no harm at all.

I think you have never seen a crushed dream and have been enjoying the lollypop of best education without much hard work, there fore you are saying this. You know in 12th I got 94% in PCM. I wanted admission in reputed engineering college in Mumbai. But could not get it. Later one of my friend(he is economically much better than me) I came to know got admission with 85%. Now what will you say bout this? Is this justice? If it is then tell me what is my mistake?

Are meritorious Indians going to serve nation no

I am amazed at the kind of observation. You mean to say that people who get failed ie reserved category, stay back in country therefore they are patriots. Ok fine. Now what if reserved category student himself got a good percentage and foreign job will he stay back in India? I don’t see any specific reason which says that reserved category students saty back in Indain and open cateory guys fly to America. Even this view is so crude and baseless.

Is there any doctor to prevent DEATH phenomenon

This is the reason you got to justify reservation in medical colleges? Dear if no Doctor has got cure for Death doesn’t means that we go on making Doctors who will bring death. You are most welcomed to get operated from Doctor like these but I will never go for it.

You tell me now. Your Son requires urgent medical help. There are two Doctors.

1) First Doctor is from open category who only on basis of hard work and merit has come to this point. Got 95% (minimum required for an open category student for Medical admission) in 12th therefore got admission in medical. Being studies from beginning completed studies successfully in time abd therefore with good knowledge.

2) This Doctor is reserved category. In12th he got 50%. But due to reservations he gets admission in Medical. He failed twice during his medical studies and atlast became doctor with lots of effort.

Whom will you choose to operate on your son?

Remember my friend. To make up a mistake doesn’t means to commit one more mistake.
