I had shifted household items from Ahmadabad to Kolkata through Agarwal Movers and Packers as went blindly for they so called reputation.In Ahmadabad , the in charge Mr Rahul agarwal personally came with all false promises regarding full safety and an insurance amounting rs 2 lakhs and if any damage to be repaired on the spot. Also said that the goods would reach Kolkata within 6 days
Well after 3 days contacted them and after lots of calling found that the lorry had been taken to Hyderabad for God knows what reason.
Anyways after 10 days goods where brought to kolkata and got a call that if we don’t pay remaining balance they won’t deliver the goods..which is blackmail basically.But even then we paid the balance and next day they started unloading..Was simply shocked with the way the staff unloading were behaving so rudely and the way they were handling the goods.
Then once packaging were opened found almost all furniture been damaged most so horribly beyond repair.Expensive crockeries brought from outside smashed.
Repeated calls to Kolkata office did not help and finally had to call up their head office on which they sent someone called Mr Pawan , a big time crook and cheat, from their office.He made a complete assesment and said that he will call back within 2 days time14 days had passed and there was no response from thier side.At last we called up their head office and after heated argument with one Mrs Sarala, another cheat, sent mails with photos attached showing damage extent.
Finally they sent someone to carry out some repairs who did some work.Now remaining compensation which is under their so called fraud insurance is still pending and also many repairs.Any calls to thier Kolkata office is drawing v horrible behavior from their office in kolkata, namely Mr Sinha and Mr Pawan.
This is a complete fraud and cheating Movers and Packers.I suggest no one to ever approach them with shifting household goods as they will damage everything and dont care at all.
it has been the most horrible experience and we should sue such frauds
