2 years of pathetic experience with BIMAL

I am updating on the all car related blogs. Go through my below mail. Let me know if I am wrong. For you it is business, for us it is pain.


The BIMAL employees are trained to cheat the customers. At any cost they need to sell the car or put higher cost in service make good revenue to BIMAL. Employees will act as though they will be punished if customer escalate. All these are dramas to make the customer fool. They know 70% of customer are fools they will be unaware that they are cheated,  rest 30% will ask questions and they know to handle with separate customer support team.


I purchased swift and did 5 service(20000KMS) in BIMAL in 2 years. First two service went well as it was free for me(but good amount from maruti voucher). Every 6 months/5000kms they use to charge me close to 5000rs. I thought it is usual charge and I was fool at that time. During 20000Kms serivce I asked only one question did these serivce bla bla are recommended by maruti and why 5000rs for every 5000KMS? Next moment they said they will refund the money. Now what about my 3rd, 4th service cost. I am cheated. Please Do not be cheated.


During sales:


Hi Bimal Team,


It is problem with me that believing your(BIMAL) commitments and cancelling the booking in Pratham motors( they committed to deliver the vehicle on Monday as it was in transit) and booking again in BIMAL for immediate delivery.  But the BIMAL delivery happened three days later than Pratham commitment.


You will not understand the pain unless you are in my situation. As I was in need of car immediately to celebrate the auspicious moment of our child birth on( 7/8/2013).  You took the weakness of me and made me to wait one whole day till 11.30 to 8.00 pm(8/8/2013) to sell the car.  I was in showroom for one whole day not even to gone to my home town to see my new born.


Please understand the feelings… Your wrong commitment  and intensity to sell the car, made me one day stay in the show room.( I could have been happy if I would have reached one day earlier to see my new born without car.)


I have not received any mail or call from BIMAL other than Edwin(Sales Executive)( what the mangers are doing there.). You think this as an small issue. and your part of selling a car and earning profit is over.


May be the CEO have appreciated the Sales Team for selling the car. and all Managers are enjoying the party.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you, we understand your


emotions and eagerness towards  taking  delivery of your favourite car,


Unfortunately, the vehicle was in transit and did not reach on time  Due to this our


executive was not in position to give you a concrete details. It was not our


intention to delay your favourite car to deliver you.


The impact has been of such a magnitude, which inspite of our best efforts


we could not deliver you the car on the committed time.


However, the issue has been discussed with the concerned sales person regarding


the updation not done and we would like to assure you that such a case will not be


repeated in future.

Hi Chandra Shekar,


Without vehicle in BIMAL stock yard how can your executive assure me that he can deliver the vehicle in next 20 hours and take payment of 6 lakhs. This clearly confirms that you want to take the customer away from other showroom to yours so you said all lie to me( vehicle is in stock and can give me immediate delivery with TR) and did your business. I  hope even document to temporary registration has not sent on Thursday and I need proof for it( As per maruti records the car is delivered on Thrusday, they were asking feedback about dealer and car  on next day but it is delivered on next week Wednesday only).


The whole day I waited in showroom, because BIMAL want to gain the profit and I am the loser. If I could have taken the vehicle in Pratham three days later, I would have not wasted one whole precious day in frustration and I would have got vehicle two days early also with full registration.


I am not happy with your response. I will raise a complaint against BIMAL with Maruti. I wonder how platinum dealer can do these kind of mistakes. Let me see how maruti responds to this issue.

During 15000kms service with bumper replacement:


Hi maruti,


I need answer from maruti for the below question.


How did maruti given 7 times platinum dealer to this worthless dealer. Even a roadside workshop will repair 99% better than your platinum dealer and give the car as provided by only fixing the issue?


Really shame on maruti, go and evaluate the bodyshop  before issuing platinum dealer are the employees well trained?  Believing your junk rating I am sending my car 20kms from my house to service the car.


My red color car front bonet, right side fender and door are fully sprayed with white color paint and also they delivered the car by applying polish very beautifully on top of it. After water wash the car looks very ugly. See the attached images.


I need answer from maruti, what action you are going to take against this your worthless(maruti platinum) Bimal Dealer.


For small front bumper and fender replacement Bimal has taken 6 days to complete after lot of escalations, really very bad.


I need some one from maruti to contact me and provide the solution.

During 20000 KMS service above fixed police gone and some white color paint removal turns out to be dots of patches in bonet and looks bad.


During 20000kms service:


I need my consolidated service history including spare parts. I see no reason for charging 100 rs for nitrogen air, I can fill it in shell free of cost, Does the car came without air?  Every five thousand kilometers air-filter change, within 2 years 4 times air filter has been changed. verify the history, Other cars recommended for 1 year or 10000kms.


What did the work done for standard 20K service cost 1370? Only car wash.  other labor cost 1600  and your gimmicks of discount 642 rs. Not even grease is applied to front bonet and other doors.  I can rate your service 1 out of 10. with these basic reason.


Every 10000 kms I am spending close to 10000 rs for servicing a petrol car. But maruti claims lowest maintenance in the market.


Provide me the maintenance history. I will share you figo petrol maintenance cost less than 30% from this in 20000kms.


I am planning to raise a complaint with maruthi.  Please get back to me as early as possible.
