I got dozens of calls from Club Mahindra to upgrade my membership to purple - I am currently in red 1 BR. Most of the seasons that I wish to go out of the reach of Red member.
I was told that a purple studio upgrade will cost me Rs 80000 (approx) and purple 1 BR upgrade will cost me 1.5 lakhs. I also received these formal offers through an email.
I finally decided that it may be better to go with Purple 1 BR - because knowing these guys they will later give excuses that I am in studio and hence cannot give a 1 BR unit!
The day I get ready to pay, I get calls saying there was a mistake in the system and that the purple 1 BR should have been 3 lakhs !!!! So club mahindra’s strategy is clear - Blatantly misrepresent facts and then con the customtakeouter. Most customtakeouters do not have the resources to fight it out later.
The red membership almost seems a waste - never get any room now whenever I need!
How does one fight this out? I have an official email from them on this offer.
