Admitted to this hospital on 4th Feb 19 complaining of acute abdominal pain. They kept me there for 3 days and made charged exorbitantly once I invoked insurance (approx 90k!). They didn’t an angio on me without doing ultrasound and blood test!! Can you beat it. Angio turned out to be completely normal but continued medication under cardio guidance till insisted for usg and LFT as I believe everyone knows their bodies the best. On third day they concluded that it’s liver infection along with little swelling in gall bladder; something that they could have identified in the first 1 hour!! On top of that they wrote misspelled medicines which is available nowhere in the world. It certainly wasn’t in their own chemist shop and I was advised to buy from outside. The scoundrels applied so many charges like dietician etc fully knowing that it is not payable by insurance and without my consent. I had to bear 15k out of 90.
Upon my insistence they carried out tests and found out that it’s hepatitis. But final discharge report they have not mentioned DNA load and viral marking. That’s a gross negligence. And the medicine prescribed to me treats bacterial infection cefixime..
