I used to feel myself porud of not falling for marketing traps but these guys took me down. I got a call yesterday evening that I was one of 15 lucky members out of 5000+ entries and I need to visit them along with my wife today morning to collect gifts after 90 min of presentation from them. As they told me that, there are no conditions tied to gifts. I took a chance.
I went there today morning with my wife and I was told that the person who spoke to me on phone is a call center guy ... for next 90 min one of their sales guy took me on a ride with his tricks and tried concinving me with all different options -
Option1 1.75 lk for life time ownership (CV + its affiliates) - World wide + 150sq/ yards plot somewhere near Guntur + 6 lk insurance etc etc
Option2 > 40, 000 for life time ownership (CV + its affiliates) - Asia & India (Also he said there is further corporate concession and I would get for 34000/-)
At some point I felt it is good thing to consider and I told him to give me complete details and I will take a week time and get back to him..I was really considering at that point of time But, he said that offer is only available today..Then I felt something is fishy. I said then it will not work for me....he even provided the last option - pay 1500/- and take a week time. I said I will not pay even that. He understood and atlast left me free...with some cheap kitchen glass bowl’s gift not even worth 50/- + some voucher which they say it is valid for next 1 yr + One day Country Club membership.
I cannot comment on the credibility of those vouchers...After reading all the reviews on that company now on this site, I am happy to be out of their trap with little losses i.e. by spending some 200 Rs on petrol + 4 hrs time and getting a gift not even worth 50/-.
Moral of the story - Nothing comes for free :)
