I have worked in daman and stayed near it for more than 20 years and have visited this place for fun quite often. As a tourist destination Daman is known more for the booze then the sceneries it has to offer. lets take a look at both. For the places to visit, Daman has got many nice Churches, Forts, Water parks, restaurants and hotels which are worth your time and money. On other hand you will see many wine shops and bars for your boozy satisfaction. Daman is place for everyone you can hang out and have couple of drinks and snacks as low as 200 RS or as high as. pretty much as high as you wanna go. I am the low end guy for the record. The only connectivity is by road and by air(if u got one fancy flying thing to board on) for the road thing you gotta get down at Vapi Railway station or you gotta make entry from Highway. Roads and traffic is not a problem except for weekends.

Daman is affordable, safe and over all a nice place to visit if you avoid the mess being created near the shores(sometime). When I say’mess’ I mean the food and plastic waste and sometimes over drunk dramas.
