Folks! I am writing this review on movie coz it is worth it. Yes, I found this flick truly extraordinary! Directed by Prawal Raman, Darna Manaa Hai is a excellent film of a weird genre for Indian Audiences. It has no songs, unwanted comedy artists, crying women or singing and dancing heroes. This is a completely thrilling rollercoaster ride, which takes you through up and down through completely new chilling stories. Story telling is the most overlooked and working part of the film. Sound designing is so excellent that one really feels like sitting in a jungle, in a school, on the road. Film starts on a excellent note and director keeps his grip over the story till the end. I have no idea why the makers have promoted it as horror flick, what certainly its not. That is the main strength of this movie. Six stories are totally different than each other. They have narrated in style with crisp and slick editing. After watching the movie you will definitely think once before lighting a cigarette, eating a apple or entering a school. On the acting part everyone has done his part at the best level. Boman Iraani, Nana Patekar, Vivek Oberoy, Aftaab, Raghuveer Yadav and everyone has portrayed the character in a very non-filmi style. They appear on screen subsequently for hardly 8 – 10 mins in their respective stories. Though the climax does not match to the quality of the film but still it is enjoyable. Do not watch it on Video because you will miss sound effects, which is plays a vital part in this movie. Watch it on big screen to enjoy crisp editing efforts. MISS KARNA MANAA HAI
