After a series of flop movies liike "Kalank" and "Student of the year 2", here comes a refreshing romantic comedy "De De Pyaar De". Ajay devgan who is in his 50s falls in love with Rakul who is in her 20s, both are in a serious relationship. They both plan to meet Ajay’s ex-wife tabu and her family. After "Andhadhun" tabu has delivered her best, she looks awesome on screen. Ajay and Rakul both have delivered there finest performances. Script is well writen, though there are some instances in the film which makes the pace of the movie bit slow.
Weak point are the songs and music. Suprise package is Jimmy Shergil who has also acted well in the movie even though he has just 10 mins role in the movie. Since it is a Luv Ranjan’s film, there are many characters who have 2-5 min role like Alok Nath, Javed Jaffery. Overall its a family drama movie which you can watch if you are a Ajay and tabu fan. I will give this movie 3.5 star out of 5.
