I am 29 years old and I am in my 5th month of pregnancy. My interaction with Gunasheela started 4 years ago, when I was all of 112 kgs on 4 feet 11 inches. I was diagnosed as PCO in other places and as well as Gunasheela Hospital. I had undergone several methods of treatment but nothing seemed to work. I was most upset when Dr. Devika spoke to me about weight loss before starting the treatment, so I continued treatment elsewhere, but nothing was successful. I came back to Gunasheela, Dr. Devika again advised me regarding weight loss and I was now 120 kgs.
I was counselled by Dr.Devika regarding future health problems like Diabetes and Hypertension. She referred to Dr. Rajsekhar Nayak her husband who is an excellent Bariatric Surgeon. I was quite convinced by now that surgery is the only way ahead to lose weight. I got Bariatric surgery done in Gunasheela Hospital and they advised me to not to try for pregnancy for 1 year. After a year I went back to Gunasheela and with very little medications I got pregnant. I am 74kgs after 1 ½ years and I am now in my 5 month of pregnancy. Gunasheela seems to know what they are doing. I have spent lot of money in trying to get pregnant with other hospitals.
I regret not considering this advice at first.
