I’ve been purchasing at HealthKart for a year now. I noticed something off when I bought a set of toe gels from Dr. Scholls about 7-8 months back. They sent me the product in a torn wrapping and had taped it shut. It was dirty, but since it was not a consumable I didn’t worry too much about it.
Last week I ordered soaps - Biotique - 70Rs each (MRP). I ordered 6 of them and 12 Brut ones, amongst other things. The Brut soaps were fine but the Biotique were 15 months old and were powdering. The packages were pretty worn too. I get the feeling they are buying scrap at low price from stores or the manufacturer themselves and selling it at full price MRP and making huge margins in return. I dropped an email to customer service, but got no reply and no call either. Have decided never to buy from them again...
