I have been using activa from last 6 months . And my experience has not been great . Bought the vehicle from Haiku Honda , Bangalore.Very Poor Service , problems are not sorted out even after multiple visits.
Handling was a issue from day one . After two services and repeated complaints , it has become bit better , but still leans towards the left.
One problem I noticed with my Activa , but not in others is that , when I start moving from zero the pickup is very low , giving acceleration the engine just keeps raising but doesn’t show any affect on the vehicle’s pickup . Infact the initial pickup is so slow that its worse than my TVS Scooty (5 years old).. I complained this problem to the Service center and they just increased the idling . Such is the response I get from the Service centers.
Also the mileage is just around 35 kms/litre in Bangalore. The suspension is very hard and the ride is rough . Back Pain is guaranteed. However if the vehicle is loaded up , with two people , then the ride is better.
But worst of all problems is the Service or the Lack of it.Thinking of selling it and buying a Kinetic Flyte or Suzuki ACCESS 125
