Raipur We were in Raipur in July, 2013, and were booked into this hotel. It was alright except that it was rather expensive for the state of disrepair.
Location It is not easy to get transport to anywhere once you come out of the hotel. The city is not so friendly. But there is a shopping centre nearby. Apparently, the hotel is only 5 km away from the railway station and 20 kilometers from Airport and they claim to provide Luxury cars to pick you up from the airport or railway station on advance booking at no extra charge.
Smiles The room had an electric kettle, tea bags, coffee, milk and sugar sachets; towels and toiletries, and service was fairly smiling and prompt.
Highlight The food was great! The chef appeared to be innovative. Dry seasonal vegetables was some carrots, beans or peas on large pineapple rings on a bed of cabbage leaves, in a lavish but light creamy/cheesy sauce, rather like butter chicken gravy, with potato fingers on the side. The real delight was an Irish stew, light, but more Thai or Malaysian/Chinese, with cloves of soft garlic and ginger wedges.

Ugh! There was hair near the bathroom dustbin which means it had not been cleaned for occupany. There was a bathtub but, alas, not only did it not look very clean but the water flow was unenthusiastic.
There were small cockroaches over the bed and the blanket was extremely coarse.
