I purchased a Hyundai accent a month back and I am really happy with my decision.
Before purchasing this car, I did a detailed survey on all cars in this category (including taking test drives on all of them) and the Accent did turn out to be the best.
Accent, though most expensive in its category, does give a ’’BIG’’ Car look, which the Opel Corsa doesnt give. Compard to the Corsa, Accent is also much lighter in driving and the comfort is much better. Even in terms of mileage, the Accent is better, a fact admitted to even by the Corsa salesman.
THe other car in this category, namely the Ford Ikon, is definitely no comparison for the Accent.
I have been using the Accent for the last 1 month. It really has a comfortable drivers seat...high enough that u can see the end of the bonnet and a good look at the road ahead.
THe interiors are also comfortable (except for the fact that the dashboard is so designed that you cant keep anything there...somehting many of us are used to)
The A/C works very well.
RIght now, it is giving me a mileage of 8-9 kms / litre in the city. But I have been advised that after the first service, the mileage will improve.
The best thing is that even the base model comes with all the trappings of luxury (i.e. the really necessary ones). SO you dont have to spend too much on accessories.
SO if you are looking for a ’’BIG’’ car, do spend a little bit more and go for the Accent
