When I saw the Teaser of the series it appeared much interesting because I thought we can come to know about phising. But as I watched Jamtara episodes, it was a story less about deep dive on phising and more about any other crime thriller village story.
There is village of jharkhand where late teens are experts in phising scams. Two brothrs Rocky and sunny have diffrence of opinions and newly appointed SP tries her best to Expose phising and local legislator brajesh bhan ( The villian) . The story is entertaining crime story but what you maynot like in the series is the screen play and dull pogress of the story. The scenes are not that gluey to make the audience stick to upcoming episodes. The cast is not that good in my opinion however eveyone has acted their best but still appear imature acting wise. All over I would say the set up looks like just any other old mafia film and not much about phising. incase the makers are planning Jamtara 2. I would really not be excited to watch what happens next unless the casts revise with better actors, improve screenplay and scenes become intersting to watch inspite of making the audience sleepy.
