The prticipants, and the JUDGES-RAHAT BHAI, ILA ARUN AND ANAND RAJ ANAND are already known to the audience. The show is beeing rated on the basis of SUFI, LOK SANGEET and HOLLYWOOD. The show has already completed many of its episodes and in INDIA the show has already declared the winner
There are two pints I would like to mention:
- The system of declaring the winner on the basis of SMS is not the proper way of selecting the winner. In fact the use of SMS makes it a financial gain to the MOBILE SERVICE provider and the organizers of the show , BUT IT SPOILS THE CAREERS OF MANY UPCOMING SINGERS. It becomes a farce.THE WINNER SHOULD BE LEFT TO THE DISCRETION OF THE JUDFES.No doubt the Judges can show some BIAS , though it will become very apparent to the audience.
There are relatives and friends of CONTESTANTS who can go o sending IN-UMERABLE SMS FROM A SINGLE MOBILE AND SHARE THE AWARD MONEY WITH THE CONTESTANT/OR HIS NEAR AND DEAR ONES.firstly there should not have been judges with tags of SOOFI, LOK GEET/MAATI KE LAL and HOLLYWOOD.That way they will not fight among themselves in the name of their DOMAIN. and right participant will win.ABHAAS, who would have won his AMUL VOICE OF INDIA title, was made to loose and everybody could see the malpractice of SMSs.
In this Serial( though we should call it a musical show because it is not based on any story)In this MUSICAL cotest MALINI or ALI ABBAS should have been the winner if quality of singing was considered. But the winner was declared-HARSHPREET-(I have no prejudice against her. She was good in pieces but her overall performance to me diid not appear to be the best of all the contesting candidates)
THE SMS system OF DECLARING A WINNER SHOULD BE AVOIDED.If at all SMS is to be made use of then on the STAGE itself there should screens be provided .FIX UP SOME DEFINITE TIME FOR EACH CONTESTANT AND THE SMS BE RECORDED ON THE SCREEN WHICH THE PUBLIC CAN SEE LIKE THE MARKS GIVEN BY THE JUDGES. BUT THE BEST WAY WILL BE TO LEAVE IT TO JUDGES TO DECIDE THE WINNER.
The second thing that I noticed (correct me if I am wrong) that ANNU KAPOOR was attempting to put his restless hands more on the shoulders of female candidates and when he was so doing HE WAS MORE VOCAL so that the audience could not pay more attention to his such advances..You would not find this habit with any of the HOST of any TV show.Those who could not notice it may see their recordings or CDs.
The JUDGES in such shows should conduct themselves in a more amiable and unbiased manner.
Except the above The Musical Show is one of the best entertainers on the MUSICAL FRONT.
