Hello friends, I would like to share a pathetic experience while traveling with’Malindo Air’ from Malaysia to Delhi. These international airlines which are meant to take care of our entire travel and luggage with safety and comfort, are no more reliable.
We took a transit flight from Bali (Denpasar) airport to Kaula Lumpur and then to Delhi. Meanwhile we safely" handed our luggage at Bali airport assuming it to be safe and secure.
To our shock; on returning to Delhi IGT, what we found was our baggage was touched, opened and disturbed from inside (thankfully all valuables were in hand baggage) with clear intentions to stole.
Moreover our fellow friends find their valuable stuffs (iPhone, perfumes) missing which were stolen from their check in luggage.
On top of it, the shameless staff of ’Malindo Air’ torn our friend’s bag when they were unable to break the lock. When asked the officials for explanation, their casual reply amused us all.
’It’s for security check’. Really, were there no scanners at so called international standard airports. This is not only pathetic, disgusting but a cheap act wherein an airline cannot even take care of the passenger’s belongings.
On top of it, when Malindo officials were called, it took them nearly an hour to even get up from their comfortable seats and address our issues.
This is utterly shameful that those morons on the airport were not even ready to address this until we made a hue and cry which made them ask for timeline and lodge a official complaint.
They even said that "ye to yahan roz ka hai"! What disturbs me more is the fact that in spite of paying all the charges, this is what passengers get in return-’Uncomfortable seats, tacky food and stolen stuff’.
I am posting this just out of concern as there are serious security concerns which need to be addressed by’Airport Authorities’ world over.
If something can be stolen so easily from your luggage, things can be put in too. I hope this message passes on just to save some of you not to travel by ’Malindo Air.’
Forget about uncomfortable seats and tacky food; they could not even assure us a safe journey!
