How to start for my about to turn 8 maruti 800 partner. It’s been a mixed experience with my oldy goldy. Looks are OK for a small car, fuel efficiency as well, but comfort and legspace has always been an issue.
Ever since I joined a BPO, I have an urge to yell out for the so called leg space in cars not only small but big as well.
Damn, I dont understand the sense and technique of car designers and car makers. If all of us make a note, there is hardly any leg space in any of the cars if you wish to stretch on journey even for 25 -30 kms.
The most often used cab is Toyota qualis, cool but once you experience the chevrolet tavera, great.
I beleive GM is the only one which has truly understood the meaning of legspace. Its not only in SUV or cars used as cabs but for all the machines of GM. Ever travelled in auto in delhi, you have the space to stretch and cross your legs.
However, every rider at the rear seat is often seen sitting crossed leg only when the navigator’s seat is pulled forward.
On a lighter note, lets hope to get some good work in future by all car makers.
