Although I start my day with a cup of hot tea, I just cannot leave home (for work) without a large mug of gold old Nescafe.
I just love the fragrance that emanates from the cup, a beautiful way to start the day. Everyone has his/her own tried & tested method of brewing a hot cup and usually diehard coffee drinkers do not like coffee made by others.
I like it strong, with just enough milk to give it a rather poor shade of white. Heres how I make it:
I take a cup full of water and keep it on the burner for boiling ( I see to it that my wife has already boiled the milk). I add two tsp. Nescafe to the cup with just about 3/4th tsp. of sugar (not the artificial sweetner for me!), a tsp of warm water and mix all till I get a frothy amalgamate. As soon as the water boils, I pour it into the cup, mix thoroughly and add a dash of milk.
Then I take the cup to my favorite place on the dining table and read the paper with small sips of the brew. What a way to begin the day (I mean after the morning ablutions). Can anyone part with his/her own favorite coffee making secrets?
