Plot: Rangasthalam is a backward village in Godavari district.Rangasthalam is under the leadership of Ruthless President Phanindra bhupathi(Jagapathi babu) from 3 decades. Chitti babu(Ramcharan) is a hearing disabled person. And he falls in love with Rama lakshmi(Akkineni Samantha). Chitti babu brother kumar babu(Aadhi pinishetty) contest for the gram panchayat elections to revolt against the president.president kill many people who try to contest against him.
Rest of the story is how chitti babu solve the problem of villagers and takes the revenge on President?
Performance: it is the one man show of Ram charan. His performance takes the film to next level . he is just Outstanding, playing a deaf character by a mass star is always a challenging one. he put the heart and soul to the role of chitti babu. His dialouges, comedy timing, acting, dance, fights every thing is perfect. his performance in brother death scence was fantastic . Chitti babu role will remember forever. he deseves many awards for his performance.
Samantha as Ramalakshmi also done a excellent job. jagapathi babu looks menancing in the role of Ruthless president. aadhi does an excellent job as kumar babu. he has done some excellent job. Anasuya as Rangamattha is too good.
Music: Dsp music and bgm is one of the biggest plus point for the movie. Yentha sakkagunnave and Rangamma mangamma are already chartbusters. and his bgm takes the film to next level.
Cinematography: Cinematography by ratnavelu was just perfect. the camera work is superb. Ratnavelu captures rural village beautifully. he used special lights for polam fight in 2nd half was brilliant.
Analisys: first half filled with romantic track between charan and samantha .slowly story begins with scencs of president ruthless behaviour. but 2nd half dragged with some emotional scencs.but climax is just outstanding coming to director sukumar this is going to be his best work till date.
Overall Rangasthalam is an terrific emotional rural drama with career best Performance from ramcharan. Mass and family audience surely enjoy this movie. GO FOR IT.
