My experience with IndusInd General Insurance(formerly Reliance General) has been extremely frustrating. The incident occurred within the valid policy period, yet the company kept asking for the same documents multiple times, causing unnecessary delays. It felt from the beginning as if they were trying to find a reason to deny the claim rather than process it fairly.
I was even told that a refund of ₹;XXXXX had been approved and would be paid in 10 working days. This was communicated by their representative Prajakta Mane. Then suddenly, I was asked again for the same documents, and eventually the claim was denied without a reasonable explanation.
This entire process appeared disorganised and unprofessional, and did not feel supportive of the customer at all.
Based on my experience, I would not use their service again and would not recommend them to others.
