Almost all the e-commerce sites has the Samsung Evo Plus Micro SD Cards listed in their websites and the features of those cards are really eye-catching. However, appearance can often be deceptive and my experience regarding Samusng Evo Plus cards followed the same lane. I had two bad experiences with Samsung cards in recent days and I will narrate both:-
1) My first card was a Samsung Evo 64gb SD Card(48 MB/s) Class 10 SDXC card which I bought in order to take advantage of the adoptable storage in Android 6.0. In the first two months the Card worked flawlessly and easily handled the apps and games installed on it. However, the card gave me a huge surprise when it refused to get detected on my phone. I didnt do any tampering with the card but suddenly it out of order and seemed to be completely dead. However, this wasnt the biggest surprise. The biggest surprise came when I called Samsung Service Center regarding the warranty of the card as the packaging mentioned 10 years warranty. On calling, they responded that they cant provide a replacement and I must contact the retailer while the retailer asked me to contact the contact service center and ultimately I was the looser.
2)The second incident came just about a week after the first one. Due to some unknown reason, I restored my faith on Samsung and bought another Samsung Evo Plus 80 MB/s Card but this time from Flipkart. On receiving the product, I found it out that the card is a corrupted card and even refused to get formatted. However, this time due to Flipkart I got back my refund.
This is why, I want to recommend everyone to go for Sandisk SD Cards as they are a way lot better.
