I purchased an expensive Westinghouse Contact grill at their site two months ago in Dec12. Not only did they dispatch a 2nd hand piece (yes second hand !!) the grill was damaged too with all the nobs completely broken beyond repair. I contacted them the same day of delivery and sent the damaged pics of the grill as requested. Since then they have been assuring me of reverse pick-up and then refund. Neither do they pick up the product nor are they refunding my Rs.7000/- .
Ive escalated to all possible levels, however no refund yet. They claim the product has to reach them and only then could they refund my money !! And they dont bother to pickup the stuff !!! I had a similar experience where they kept almost 25K of my money for a months time and cancelled an LED TV order saying they dont have stock. Their strategy seems to be putting up enticing "sale" and making gullible customers make purchase and keep their money interest free for extended period and then after numerous follow-ups "refund" the money ! Good and devious strategy to raise interest fee money from unsuspecting customers !
